At a charity golf outing, three friends—Kyle Flynn, Sarah Fegre, and Cassandra Flynn —came to a few realizations:
- Networking events can be pricey, and too many require costly memberships.
- Big-name nonprofits often get the fundraising spotlight, while smaller ones struggle for support.
- Local small businesses rarely have the budget to sponsor—or even participate in—traditional charity events.
There had to be a better way. So, they did what any resourceful, beer-loving do-gooders would do: they created Pints with Purpose.
It’s a simple (but brilliant) concept:
- A quarterly happy hour at a Dane County brewery.
- Featuring one small business sponsor and one local nonprofit.
- A laid-back way to connect with professionals who actually care.
- Zero memberships. Zero entry fees. Just good people, good beer, and good causes.
- And the best part? 100% of the dollars raised go straight to the featured nonprofit.
The first event kicked off in January 2025 at ALT Brew in Madison with 36 supporters in attendance. Each quarter the event has grown with 100+ attendees at the November 2025 event.
